Academy President Letter
March 16th, 2018

From the Desk of J. R. Brandt DC, MS, FACO
President
Academy of Chiropractic

Dear Fellows,

Next month is the American College of Chiropractic Orthopedists symposium in Carlsbad, California. I hope to see many of you at the conference. Excellent speakers and topics will be provided.

I’m pleased to tell you that more states are becoming active teaching graduate Chiropractic Orthopedics and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine. I have just been informed that Ohio will begin classes in the fall of 2018. Wisconsin will have its first class next month. There are possibly another 8-10 states who are considering classes. The increasing number of courses looks for an exciting 2019. The state of Illinois completes their first series of classes shortly.

Academy members can obtain a subspecialty in Forensic Sciences. The requirements include completing the educational program related to Forensics Sciences. The orthopedic requirement portion has been achieved with you successfully obtaining your Chiropractic Orthopedic Diplomate. Forensics can be contacted, if you are interested at: http://www.forensic-sciences.org/

Spring is nearly upon us, and the northern latitudes it’s about time!

The best thing about the future is that it comes only one day at a time… Abraham Lincoln
